El acuerdo
En los últimos años, el retorno del RCA al Plan Anual Antártico se convirtió en un objetivo institucional prioritario para su actual conducción.
El día 28 de diciembre pasado, luego de una serie de gestiones y tratativas que se llevaron a cabo durante 2015, el Presidente del RCA, Carlos Beviglia LU1BCE y el Director Nacional Antártico, Dr. Mariano Memolli; firmaron un acuerdo de cooperación entre ambas instituciones, que hizo posible la operación de LU1ZI durante la Campaña Antártica de Verano 2016, a la vez de sentar las bases para futuras actividades.
The agreement
The Radio Club Argentino (RCA) (in English, literally Radio Club of Argentina) has been always closely linked to the activities developed by the Argentine Republic in Antarctica. In recent years, the aim of the RCA to participate in the Annual Antarctic Plan has been a matter of priority for its current leadership.
Last December 28th, after a series of dealings and negotiations which lasted a whole year, the President of the RCA, Carlos Beviglia LU1BCE and the National Antarctic Director, Dr. Mariano Memolli; signed a cooperation agreement between both institutions, that made it possible for LU1Z1 to operate during the Summer Antarctic Campaign of 2016, and also laid the foundations for future activities.
